Medical Council of India Screening Test, also known as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is a licensure examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. In this year 2021, NBE has conducted FMGE on 18th June 2021 and results  have been released on 30th June 2021, and Indian students who studied in the University of Perpetual Help System, Las Pinas, Philippines have made history.

Yes, A huge number of Indian students have passed the FMGE screening test from this college alone. In this blog, we will see a lot about the FMGE screening test and about the highest pass percentage in FMGE screening test achieved by Indian students.

Which country has the highest MCI/FMGE passing percentage in 2021?

The Philippines is a hot spot to study MBBS in abroad. It is also the only country which has a high Indian medical student concentration.

Excellent infrastructure and world class education is provided at some colleges in Philippines. Yet, many parents fear to sent their kids to study abroad.

This concern is common among the students and parents, because many countries such as Russia and China usually produce very few FMGE qualifiers. When it comes to MBBS in the Philippines, it is the only country which produced a high FMGE pass percentage in 2021.

Which college/University has the highest MCI/FMGE passing percentage in 2021

Well, we definitely have many proofs which suggest that studying MBBS in the Philippines is more successful than studying in other countries.

Yes, studying MBBS in the Philippines could help the medical students to get good marks in FMGE. But many people ask “Which college produced a high FMGE pass percentage in June-2021?”

University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, Philippines has now proved by producing the highest FMGE pass percentage in June 2021.

This year especially this perpetual medical college has produced a high FMGE pass percentage and has made many Indian students reach their dream.

Which Study MBBS Abroad consultancy produced High FMGE Pass percentage?

It is not easy to study MBBS in an abroad country. There are many practical difficulties which many ordinary middle class families face to enroll their children in abroad countries. That is where education consultancies come into play.

FENCE medical education consultancy has produced a high FMGE pass percentage in 2021. Many education consultancies just claim that they have a high FMGE pass percentage. But, look for proof in websites or social media pages, there won’t be any.

But, FENCE education consultancy has openly posted their achievements online. This is proof that this authentic consultancy has produced a high FMGE pass percentage in the June 2021 session.

Passing FMGE is the ultimate aim for any medical student studying abroad. But choosing the best country and the college/university is equally important as choosing a good consultant. MBBS IN ABROAD OVERVIEW

Studying MBBS in abroad has become an easy process when compared to processes it took a few years ago. Many students from India prefer to study MBBS in foreign countries due to the lack of MBBS seats in India for the past 5 years. More than 10,000+ students leave India to pursue their medicine in abroad dream. The eligibility needed to study MBBS in overseas countries is not as different from studying MBBS in India. The student must have a minimum of 50% marks in their +2 and must have cleared the NEET entrance exam with a pass percentage. The other reasons for Indian students to pursue their MBBS in abroad is because of economical reasons. Economical reasons are considered as the main reason when compared to other reasons when it comes to pursuing their MBBS in other countries by a student.

Many countries provide quality medical education for the students who study in abroad nations. Most of the Indian students prefer to complete their MBBS degree course in the following foreign countries are:

Every student must first try to research about the country they are trying to complete their MBBS in abroad. The research must be done systematically before committing to a country to study your MBBS in abroad. All the factors which affects you in your MBBS in abroad path can be categorised into two:

  • Personal factors
  • External factors

By researching these two factors which would affect your MBBS in abroad dream, you can easily sort out the problems you will face and help you complete your MBBS in abroad in a country which will suit you the most.

PERSONAL FACTORS

The personal factors include the problems which affect you both physically and mentally. These problems must be checked as your first priority when trying to plan to study MBBS in abroad. These factors include:

  • Climate
  • Language
  • Cost of living
  • Accommodation
  • Food

Every student who wants to study MBBS in abroad must analyse whether these problems will affect you in your study period. If the student can overcome these factors they will have no problem in studying MBBS in abroad.

CLIMATE

When a student is trying to study MBBS in abroad they must first take the climatic factors to their minds. Cold climate countries might look good in photographs but in reality they are really dangerous for both physical and mental health. So all students must strictly spend more time researching about the climatic factors of the countries the are going to study their MBBS in abroad.

LANGUAGE

Language must be taken into consideration next if you want to study MBBS in abroad. Most of the countries wont use english to teach MBBS in their colleges. So students must choose a college that uses english to teach MBBS in abroad. Countries like philippines is best to study MBBS because it uses english to teach the students who are doing their MBBS in abroad.

COST OF LIVING

Most of the students study MBBS in abroad because of economical reasons, so the cost of living factor must be another priority when studying MBBS in abroad. Countries like Ukraine and the Philippines are among the best countries to study MBBS in abroad economically.

COUNTRY NAMECOST OF LIVING
CHINA INR. 22,000 – 75,000
RUSSIAINR. 30,000 – 45,000
UKRAINEINR. 22,000 – 35,000
UNITED KINGDOMINR. 75,000 – 80,000
UNITED STATESINR. 60,000 – 75,000
BANGLADESHINR: 20,000 – 30,000

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is a primary problem for most of the students studying MBBS in abroad. Most of the students who study MBBS in abroad fail to check these details. So if you want to do your MBBS in abroad, checking for the right accommodation must be your first priority.

FOOD

Food is another problem for the students who want to do their MBBS in abroad. Most of the abroad countries won’t serve Indian food. So getting Indian food for the students who study MBBS in abroad is a very tough task. So all the students who want to study MBBS in abroad must research the food situation in the country.

EXTERNAL FACTORS

Students must also consider their external factors when  they are planning to do their MBBS in abroad. The external factors also play a major role in your performance of education. The external factors include

  • Culture
  • Politics
  • Infrastructure
  • Teaching Method
  • Quality of Education

CULTURE

We might think culture is a minor factor for studying MBBS in abroad. But culture must be considered heavily before doing your MBBS in abroad. Most of the foreign countries have a history of violence and racism against Indian students. So you must research about these events before joining MBBS in abroad. Ukraine, Philippines are some of the best countries with less racism and violence against Indian students so they might be good countries to do your MBBS in abroad.

POLITICS

Politics is another aspect every student who wants to study MBBS in abroad must look closely. Political events affect the students who study MBBS in abroad on a greater scale. Political events on a greater scale will affect the student who is studying MBBS in abroad. So always be aware of the political scenarios of the country you do your MBBS.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure is the main platform to convey the education to a student in a proper manner. Good colleges around the world will invest a large amount of money in developing the infrastructure alone. So if a student wants to gain good medical education then they must concentrate on the infrastructure of the college they study in. Always keep in mind the money you are going to spend on your education to study MBBS in abroad and always choose colleges with good infrastructure.

TEACHING METHOD

Teaching methods vary from country to country. Most of the countries teach in the language that is majorly spoken on their land. Students who study their MBBS in abroad countries like Russia first have to learn Russian before doing their MBBS. If the student selects the countries like the Philippines the language of lecture will be in English, this helps the students studying MBBS in abroad to learn their curriculum in a known language.

QUALITY OF EDUCATION

The quality of the education that the students who study MBBS in abroad get is always doubtful to the parents. So proper research on the quality of education is a main priority to the students studying MBBS in abroad. Always look for colleges which are above 30-40 years old, and also look for inbuilt hospitals for the students to train during their education period.

COST TO STUDY MBBS IN ABROAD

Cost of studying MBBS in abroad varies depending on the country you want to study your MBBS. MBBS in abroad is expensive in many countries and in some countries it is equal to our Indian MBBS fee. If you want to study MBBS in abroad the countries can be distinguished based on their fee structures. If you want to study MBBS in abroad countries such as USA, UK, Canada the total fee will exceed more than 1 crore. Which is best? Study MBBS in Kyrgyzstan or Philippines

Admission Helpline

admission@fenceabroad.com

When it comes to affordable education for MBBS aspirants both the Philippines and Kyrgyzstan are considered as competitors. Kyrgyzstan is an Islamic dominant country while the Philippines is an Christian dominant country. It is considered as a developing country and the infrastructure in the country is nor very well-developed. The Philippines was a colony of the USA thus it has a good infrastructure when compared with Kyrgyzstan. Yet both provide affordable medical education to the students.

In this article, let us consider some of the aspects and compare them for differences. Thus, the students who want to study MBBS in any of these countries would have a good clarity on comparison and aid them in the research for studying MBBS abroad. Let us see the main differences of MBBS in Philippines and MBBS in Kyrgyzstan

Differences of MBBS in Philippines vs Kyrgyzstan

  • Quality of Education
  • Climate
  • Value for Money
  • Curriculum

Quality of Education

Education quality in a particular country is very important to consider before coming to a conclusion. Both Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines provide affordable education, thus it is an attractive destination for most of the rich and middle class students of India to study MBBS. But let us discuss the difference between these two countries.

  • Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyzstan is a developing country in the asian continent. The government infrastructures are under development in this country. Most of the medical colleges in these countries are considered new.

Many colleges are present in the outskirts of the country and the clinical exposures are very low in this country. Most of these colleges use dummies instead of real cadavers to teach anatomy. This is really a lag when we consider gaining true knowledge.

  • Philippines: Philippines is developing both in economy and infrastructure at a fast phase. The Philippines was once a colony of the USA. Most of the country’s population speak English, The educational medium is also English.

Most of the colleges in the country are top reputed medical colleges and are recognized by medical agencies across the globe. Almost all of the colleges use real cadavers to teach their students about anatomy and most of the teachers speak English so the knowledge is transferred very efficiently.

Climate

A good climate will improve your quality of living in a foreign country. When a country is too cold or too hot the students will face many tough scenarios trying to adjust to the country’s weather, this will lead to lack of motivation psychologically and cause a decline in the academic performances.

  • Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyzstan has one of the coldest winters in the world. The temperature may reach below 0C and in summer, it could reach upto 30C. This irregularity in the temperature might cause discomfort to the students pursuing their MBBS in these countries.

The climate differs from India to a greater extent which causes students to study a different disease pattern when compared with India.

  • Philippines: Philippines is located in a position geographically that matches the climatic factor which is the same as in India. Thus, the students will automatically adjust with the country’s temperature.

The disease pattern will also match with that of India because both the countries share the same average temperature.

Value for Money

Both the countries provide education for the same fees. Indians always prefer the service which provides a good value for their money. So let us see which country could provide you with a good value for the money you spend for education.

  • Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyzstan is a developing country and most of the colleges will be underdeveloped and will have a poor infrastructure. Only very few colleges which have experience in MBBS education for over more than a decade could provide you with a quality education. Most of the students are not fluent in English.

So proper research on the college and its infrastructure is very important.

  • Philippines: Philippines is one of the growing economies in asia. Many colleges in  the Philippines have a good reputation among the global community.

The medium of lecture will be in English language thus the students will easily understand the subjects and get good education

Curriculum

The curriculum in which the students learn the MBBS is also an important factor while comparing two different countries.

  • Kyrgyzstan: The country has their own medical curriculum. Thus many students struggle to pass the FMGE exam after completing their studies in Kyrgyzstan. So students need to work hard to prepare for their eligibility exam after completing MBBS.
  • Philippines: Philippines follow the USA curriculum, Thus the education standards will also be equal to the American quality. The Philippines has the highest FMGE pass percentage when compared with other foreign countries in the world.

Whatever the country the student chooses, proper research must be done before committing to a college without analysing the facts. There are good and world class colleges in both the countries. Students must gain clarity in all the aspects and then choose a particular college and the country in which they want to study MBBS in abroad countries.

High Annual Fees Dilutes Student’s Merit in MBBS Admissions in India

Admission Helpline

88077 44400
admission@fenceabroad.com

Currently, many Indians think that caste based reservations are driving merit based seat allotments in medical education to the ground. But a recent data published in The Times of India says otherwise.

Private Quota vs Government Quota in MBBS Admissions in India

The recent data gathered by TOI shows that the MBBS admissions in private colleges has a very low average NEET score when compared with government medical colleges in India.

The average NEET mark of private controlled seats were 398, while the average NEET score of government controlled seats were 448 out of 720.

The average NEET score of the students getting admission under the SC quota was 398 while the overall average was 367. These NEET scores are a lot higher than the average NEET score of the privately controlled seats.

This data sets a clear picture that the higher amount of fees in the private medical colleges are diluting the merit seats. Thus, we conclude from this analysis that the higher the amount of fees the lower the average NEET score.

NRI Quota in MBBS admissions

The NRI quota which is said to have the highest fee structure has the lowest average NEET score required. On an average only 221 marks in NEET was required to get a NRI seat.

This system is surely creating an imbalance in medical education. In government colleges the NEET score required to join these colleges was 487. But in private colleges where the fee is more than lakhs the average mark was 372.5. These factors could create an imbalance in the medical education system. International Nurse day

Covid-19 Warriors

Every year 12th of May is celebrated as the International Nurse day all around the world. Florence Nightingale’s birthday is celebrated as the nurse’s day. The word nurse originated from the latin word “nutrire”. In the late 16th century it got its new meaning. Nurses are mentioned almost everywhere in human history. In the early days, nurses were only used to taking care of the sick in normal hospitals. During the world wars, nurses were used to serve primarily in war, they used to take care of the wounded soldiers and take care of them.

Founder of Modern Nursing

The founder of modern nursing is known as Florence Nightingale. She was a pioneer in the nursing field, she was the first to lay the foundations for professional nursing and started her own nursing school at  St. Thomas Hospital in London.

Nightingale was an excellent and versatile writer. In her lifetime, much of her published work was concerned with spreading medical knowledge. Some of her tracts were written in simple English. So that they could easily be understood by those with poor literacy skills. Much of her writing, including her extensive work on religion and mysticism, has only been published after her death.

Modern Day Covid-19 Warriors

Nurses play an important role in the fight against this huge pandemic. Even though they are under a lot of pressure their care and dedication towards their patients never goes down. Nurses and all other healthcare workers are doing an excellent job towards reducing the death toll of this great pandemic. It is at these times we find the importance of these great warriors who stand guard of millions of lives grabbing their souls from escaping their bodies. No amount of appreciation or money can compensate for their work. No scholars or poets can preach their dedication.

It is in our hands to wear a mask always and practice social distancing. Acts like this will stop the spread and reduce the strain on the healthcare workers. What do you think about International Nurse day? Share your views and comments in the section below.

COVID Duty for MBBS Final Year Students.

MBBS-Students-Covid-Duty

COVID Duty for MBBS Final Year Students.

Due to the COVID-19 second wave attacking India like never before. The center and the state governments are struggling to meet the requirements and infrastructures needed to treat the patients. The main problem most of the states face are shortages in Oxygen and health workers. Due to overwork and exhaustion the workers in the health sectors are facing many difficulties and stress.

Battling the Second Wave.

Due to the shortage of health care workers amid this second wave the government is planning to involve the MBBS final year students to join the fight against covid 19.

These decisions include to delay the NEET exams and incentivising the MBBS pass-outs to join the COVID battle. Nursing students are also in demand for filling the duty schedules.

The testing labs which confirm the corona virus is also under high pressure due to the second wave. The government has also announced that it will give top priority to the students during government recruitment if they have performed the COVID duty.

Fighting a devastating second wave of Covid-19, India on Sunday reported its highest single-day toll of 3,689 COVID deaths. The country also saw a slight dip in the daily numbers with 3,92,488 new cases reported in the 24 hours.

Increasing Oxygen Production.

The government expects to make 10,000 oxygenated beds very soon. Temporary hospitals near oxygen producing industries can help solve this problem. Following meetings held by PM Modi on Sunday to review the Covid-19 situation, the government has also planned to convert the existing nitrogen producing plants and turn them to oxygen plants.

The government has also decided to use the oxygen generated from the steel plants, petrochemical  industries using rich combustion processes and power plants among others have oxygen plants that produce gaseous oxygen.

Industries such as these are currently being shortlisted and required work is being done to convert them into working oxygen production units.

What are your thoughts about the decisions please share your valuable comments and reviews in the comment section below.
